WHO QUALIFIES FOR A FREE NHS EYETEST?
- Over 60 & under 16 years of age
- Under 19 and in full-time education
- You or your partner receiving Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance or Working Families Tax Credit
- Have a valid NHS exemption certificate HC2
- Registered Blind or Partially Sighted
- Sufferers of Diabetes or Glaucoma or have Ocular Hypertension
- Over 40 years of age and an immediate relative of a Glaucoma Sufferer
- You Or your partner receiving Disable person’s Tax Credit
- Requiring Complex Lenses
Our practices have a large selection of frames including the lenses, that are FREE under the NHS voucher Scheme
NHS SPECTACLES
You are also entitled to spectacles under the NHS Voucher scheme if you (or your partner) are receiving the following benefits or credits:
- Income Support or Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
- You are named on, or entitled to, an NHS tax credit exemption certificate
- You are named on a valid HC2 or HC3 certificate
- Under 16 Years Of Age
- Age 16 – 17 – 18 and in full time education
